Organic
I start with the basics. Pesticide and chemical free, non GMO All of my ingredients are certified organic. That's every recipe- Grain, nut and seed, Fruit, vegetable, animal and their feed It's always pesticide, chemical free and non-no.
Non-GMO
At Food Frequency, we want your body to recognize the food you eat as real food. Unlike conventional foods that have been genetically modified to withstand weather, insects and prolong shelf-life; Our ingredients are 100% non-GMO and therefore when you consume our ganola, your body will see it as the wholesome nutrition that it is and know exactly how to break it down and use it for energy.
100% Sprouted
Every single ingredient, including the oats are 100% sprouted. This granola is highly bioavailable, easy to digest so you get maximum nutrition out of every single bite.
Gluten Free, Gluten free oats
I am not certified gluten free but all of my ingredients including my oats and grain are all certified gluten free. I also cook for others who are gluten free; so no gluten- I want everyone to be able to enjoy wonderful nutrition without worrying about major food allergens, like gluten.
Sugar. Dates!
We have to be mindful Of sugar. Diabetes is on the rise. It's an epidemic. I believe that granola can be a snack for everyone, including our diabetics. YES IT CAN! so I use date syrup. 100% pure organic dates. Gentile on the blood sugar, low on the glycemic index. Buffered with the high fat and protein of the nuts and seed, Food Frequency's Granola is a one two punch.
No oils!
What is up with all the oils added to every recipe? Sometimes more than one! It may add a bit of crispness to the end product, but it also adds a ton of calories and low quality fats, unnecessarily, and it creates a situation where your body has to work harder to break it down. Gone. I do not use any oils in the original granola recipe.
Dairy Free
Our original granola recipe is dairy free. Our conscious effort to eliminate one more common food allergen, and increasing the number of people who can enjoy this wonderful cereal.
Trace Minerals
Our not-so-secret ingredient is from mineral rich mother earth <3 It'S no secret, our soils are depleted And while I am able to procure organic sprouted nuts, I'm not in control of the soil mineral content that the nuts, seeds and grain come from. We have added over 70A+ trace minerals that will complete this wonderful nourishing snack or cereal
